What to Wear to Class

Children's & Teen's Division Ballet Classes:

Feet: Bloch, full sole leather ballet shoes. Pink for girls, white for boys.

Legs: Danskin Ballet Pink tights or Freed's pink socks for girls. White socks for boys. Navy blue or black bike shorts or stirrup dance pants for boys.

Body: Cap-sleeve, tank or camisole leotard in the designated color for girls. Short sleeved white leotard or tight fitted tee shirt for boys.

Hair: Long hair to be secured in a tight bun away from face and neck. NO PONYTAILS! Snoods (bun covers) must have holes so that hairpins may be used to secure the bun.

Pink & White Level Girls: Dotted Swiss skirt made by Freed of London.

Blue, Royal, Lilac, Mulberry, Red, Navy, Syllabus Girls: Waist Band

Blue, Royal, Lilac, Mulberry, Red, Navy, Green, Purple: Character skirt, canvas character shoes. Boys: black jazz shoes

Mulberry, Red, Navy & Syllabus Girls: Ribbon ties on ballet shoes. No elastic

Children & Teen's Tap, Jazz & Modern Classes

Leotard, any color. Convertible tights are recommended if you have back-to-back ballet and jazz/modern class. Stretch bike shorts. Tap shoes are required for tap class! Jazz shoes are optional. Sometimes bare feet are required, so be prepared.

Adult Division Ballet Classes:

Standard black leotard, pink tights and pink shoes and hair secured away from the face and neck are requested for women. Short ballet skirts are acceptable. Men may wear white tee shirt, black dance pants, white socks, white ballet shoes. Please note: black ballet shoes are not allowed in Studio A!

Adult Division Modern & Jazz Classes:

Please check with your instructor.
